Let's Make our Industry Shine!

 Sustainability is something I'm passionate about.  My goal is to be involved and further our  industry involvement.  I made it a point attend the NAR conferences in May at National Harbor and in Orlando this November and attended the Sustainability Advisory Board Meetings and the Sustainability  Roundtable Session.  Please get involved and let's offset the impact our industry makes.

The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR): Driving Sustainable Real Estate Design Through Collaboration!  NAR has partnered with the Green Business Bureau & with The National Forest Foundation to make a green difference!

They are working with The National Forest Foundation to plant 1.5 million trees.

It was such a pleasure meet you at the NAR NXT sustainability action group meeting and have the opportunity to share a little about the National Forest Foundation with everyone. 

I know you’re probably curious about those five trees you won at “Tree Trivia”, so I wanted to send over some fun information on them. 😊 

• Five trees can help remove two and a half metric tons (Mt) of CO2  from the atmosphere over the life of those trees. Learn more about that here.
• Check out our tree planting map to learn more about our many tree planting projects.  On your behalf, five native trees will be planted in a National Forest      through a project just like those shown on the map. 
• See where we stand with our goal to plant 50,000,000 trees on our campaign progress page. Note the impact the National Association of      REALTORS has on helping us reach the goal. Amazing!
• Nerd out with us on our blog dedicated to, you guessed it, TREES! Tree Blog
• Follow the NFF on social media to stay current with all the work we are doing. @nationalforests 
• If  you’re interested in starting your own tree planting initiative, check out our Sapling Program, where you can get involved on a smaller scale.
